LIBRARY HAPPENINGS OCTOBER 25-31

ADULT SERVICES:
How does a computer actually work? What does "crash" mean? What is a KB? These and other questions will be answered by Scott Sanders on Monday, October 25, at 7 p.m., in the class Introduction to Computers. This class will not cover the Internet. One space is still available as of Sunday morning. Register online.

Richie Sandberg will demonstrate the use of free sites for Online Photo Editing on Thursday, October 28, at 7 p.m. Learn how to use them to crop, resize, rotate, and otherwise modify your photos. Register online.

YOUTH SERVICES:
This week the regular Ready-to-Read, Alphabet Soup, and Evening Storytime will be replaced by the annual Preschool/Kindergarten Halloween Party and Parade. There will be skits, puppet shows, songs, and stories, as well as a special treat for each child. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes for the parade around the Library. No registration is necessary. Come on Tuesday, October 26, at 10 a.m. or 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 27, at 10 a.m. or 7 p.m., or Thursday, October 28, at 10 a.m.

On Sunday, October 31, stop in before Trick-or-Treating for free Face Painting by Julie Adriani. No registration is needed. Then Trick-or-Treat inside the Library.

Reminder for Chess Class students: There are no classes on Saturday, October 30.
