LIBRARY HAPPENINGS JANUARY 17-23

ADULT SERVICES:
There is still an opening for Scott Sanders' class Introduction to Computers at 7 p.m. on Monday, January 17. This class is for anyone who is new to computers in general and will cover basic operations. The Internet will NOT be covered. Register online.

AT 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, join financial planner Scott Goldman of Planning Dynamics for the program Mistakes People make with their IRA Money. 90 mistakes "made with conversion, beneficiaries, income tax, estate planning, stretching, investment, and documentation" will be covered. Register online.

Internet Basics
will be taught on Saturday, January 22, at 2:15 p.m. Learn about toolbars, urls, and navigation on the World Wide Web. Register online.

YOUTH SERVICES:
All are welcome to come and see the Chicago Boyz Acrobats on Monday, January 17, at 11 a.m. No tickets are needed, but space is limited and Elk Grove Residents will be given preference.

Winter programs begin on Monday, January 17. Drop in classes include Baby Tales on Mondays at 10 a.m. and Twilight Tales on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. for children ages 6 months to 2 1/2 years old with an adult. Alphabet Soup on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. is for children ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 and covers letters, colors, counting and more. Evening Story Time on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. is for all ages.

Register online for Getting Ready to Read for children ages 3 1/2 and up with an adult on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and on Thursdays at 10 a.m. and for Science and More on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 p.m. for 1st graders and up.
