LIBRARY HAPPENINGS JANUARY 31-FEBRUARY 6

ADULT SERVICES:
The Morning Book Group will be meeting on Tuesday, February 1, at 10:30 a.m., to discuss Last Orders by Graham Swift--a group of friends make a pilgrimage to scatter their former pal's ashes. For more information, call Chris Mika at extension 271.

Licensed Massage Therapist Bill Patterson will discuss the benefits of Therapeutic Massage and "Healing Touch" on Wednesday, February 2, at 7 p.m. Discover how such therapy can relieve various types of pain. Register online.

The monthly Game Night will be a week early this month (the Friends will be setting up for the annual Book Sale later in the month) on Friday, February 4, at 7 p.m. Patrons aged 12 and up are invited to participate in various games as teams or solo, including Wii, and Playstation games. Children under 17 must have written parental permission to play. Pizza and pop will be served. Register online.

YOUTH SERVICES:
Chess classes for children in grades K through 8 will begin on Saturday, February 5. Beginners will meet at 1 p.m., and advanced players will meet at 2:15 p.m. The classes will run for 3 consecutive Saturdays. There will be a tournament on February 26 at 1:30 p.m. open to any student through 8th grade even if they have not attended the classes. Register for classes and the tournament online.

The Winter Reading has begun. Come in any time--babies through high school--and get a log sheet. Every 30 minutes of reading earns "raffle" tickets. Weekly raffles will be held on Saturdays at 11 a.m.
