LIBRARY HAPPENINGS FEBRUARY 21-27

The annual Friends of the Library Book Sale will be held next weekend. Members of the Friends will be able to buy items on Friday, February 25, at 7 p.m. (anyone can join at the door for a nominal fee) at a special Preview. The general public is welcome on Saturday, February 26, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. On Sunday, February 27, from 1-4 p.m., entrance to the sale is $5 for a bag that can be filled with as much as can be fit in it. Books, puzzles, toys, magazines, dvds, cds, vhs tapes, cassettes, and more will be available for purchase. All week, before the sale, mini sales will be held in the Lobby as well.

ADULT SERVICES:
On Wednesday, February 23, a Bus Trip is scheduled to go see the new production of Les Miserables in Chicago. The $59 tickets include the bus (leaving at 5:45 p.m.), a "brown bag" dinner, and balcony seats. The tickets can be purchased at the Circulation Desk. For more information, call Jill Derkits.

YOUTH SERVICES:
There will be a special Presidents' Day program on Monday, February 21, at 1 p.m. in Kidz Korner. Engineer/magician Steve Belliveau will present Getting Excited about Science, a program for all ages presenting wonders of chemistry and physics. No tickets are needed.

The Chess Tournament for children in grades K to 8 will be held on Saturday, February 26, at 1:30 p.m. Participants do not need to have attended the classes here. Register online.
