LIBRARY HAPPENINGS AUGUST 22-28

ADULT SERVICES:

On Monday, August 22, at 7 p.m. join George Reuss for River Cruising in Germany, a slide presentation. See the castles, famous historical sites, and quaint rustic villages from Cologne to Passau along with fascinating historical information. Register online.

Adam Sandler plays a single guy used to picking up girls by saying he's unhappily married. Then he meets a special girl who wants to meet his "soon-to-be divorced-wife", and he is forced to ask a co-worker (Jennifer Aniston) to pretend to be that wife. Then it all spirals out of control in the comedy Just Go With It, showing in the Large Meeting Room on Wednesday, August 24, at 7 p.m. Rated PG-13. No tickets are needed.

The Bus Trip this week will be on Thursday, August 25, leaving at 8 a.m. for the Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo, Michigan. After lunch, the group will continue on to the Buchanan, Michigan, Tabor Hill Restaurant and Winery for a tour and a tasting. Tickets are only $48 and are available at the Circulation Desk.

This is the last week for the Adult Summer Reading Program. Just finish 5 books or other formats in 5 different categories by August 28 to earn the Dewey's Cruise t-shirt. Stop by the SS Read-a-Lot at the Adult Reference Desk.
