LIBRARY HAPPENINGS JANUARY 30-FEBRUARY 5

ADULT SERVICES:

If you have an e-reader, such as a Kindle, Nook, or iPad, you can download books from the Library website for free.  To learn HOW to do it, join Josh and Scott on Monday, January 30, from 6-9 p.m., or on Tuesday, January 31, from 3-6 p.m., for Downloading ebooks @ the Library.  No registration is needed; drop in any time within the time limits in the Large Meeting Room and they'll get you started.

At College 101 Night...Financing a College Education on Wednesday, February 1, at 7 p.m., Bailey Debus from ISAC will show how to fill out the FAFSA (application for Student Aid) and provide more information about scholarships and the pros and cons of student loans.  Register online.

There is a Bus Trip this week to see The Doyle and Debbie Show--a spoof of country music-- at the Royal George Theater Cabaret.   For $59, participants will ride the bus, see the show, and eat a "Brown Bag" dinner.  Tickets (limited to 46) may be purchased at the Circulation Desk.  For more information, call Jill Derkits at extension 226.

From 7-10 p.m. on Friday, February 3, Got Game? returns for an evening of solo and team playing of games--console, board, PC, and more.  Register online.  Open to patrons ages 12 and up; those under 17 need written parental permission.  For more information, call Josh at extension 282.
