LIBRARY HAPPENINGS FEBRUARY 6-12

On Monday, February 6, at 7 p.m., the film Super 8 will be shown in the Large Meeting Room.  Featuring Elle Fanning, the story is set in 1979 in a small Ohio town where a group of teens are making a movie with their Super 8 camera.  They witness--and get on film--a train accident that figures in a larger incident involving, possibly, aliens.  Rated PG-13.  No tickets are needed.

The Morning Book Group will be meeting on Tuesday, February 7, at 10:30 a.m., to discuss Maeve Binchy's Evening Class--a disparate group of Dubliners are all affected by their experience in a Night School Italian Class.  For more information, call Chris Mika at extension 227.

Arlington Heights genealogy expert Stephen Szabados will be discussing Organizing Your Family History So Everyone Can Understand on Thursday, February 9, at 7 p.m.  Sorting the information available, discovering some new resources, and using new ways to display the collected information will be part of the program.  Register online.  For more information, call Jill Derkits at extension 226.
