LIBRARY HAPPENINGS JULY 16-22

YOUTH SERVICES:
On Monday, July 22, local teen-age author Reina McKenzie, from Conant High School, will present 2 workshops for aspiring writers.
From 2-3 p.m., she  will talk to children in grades 3 to 5 about ideas and methods for beginning writers.  Register online.
At 3 p.m., she will speak to students in grade 6 and up about her experiences, and will include writing exercises.  Register online.
Her book is Stepping Out of Line.

This week the Friday morning program, starting at 11 a.m., will be Mike Vondruska's Illinois Juggling Institute.  Watch him perform, then try juggling yourself.  All ages are welcome, but preschoolers must come with an adult.  Because of space limitations, strollers will not be permitted in the room.
