LIBRARY HAPPENINGS JULY 22-28

ADULT SERVICES:
Provocative Vampire in the Movies will be presented by Steve Frezel on Wednesday, July 24, at 7 p.m.  Learn about the history of film vampires, "from Edward Cullen to Lestat"  Register online.

On Thursday, July 25, there will be a bus trip to Indiana to view the The Quilt Gardens of Elkhart County
.  The $88 tickets include a luncheon at Marios in Elkhart.  Purchase tickets at the Circulation Desk.  For more information, call Jill at extension 226.

YOUTH SERVICES:
The final Free Friday program will be July 26.  Appearing at 11 a.m. and at 1:30 p.m. will be American Eagle Productions and their production of the The Fabulous Fable Factory.  All ages are welcome, but strollers must be left in the lobby.  children younger than Kindergarten age must come with an adult.

This is also the last week for the Summer Reading Program.  It's still not to late to sign up.

WEEKEND EVENTS AT THE LIBRARY

Weather permitting, at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 19, Solution Action Sports will bring their action-packed BMX stunt show to the Library's back parking lot (the section closest to the movie theater).  This is a free show and all ages are invited.  However, it will be outside in very warm, humid weather, so caution is advised.

On Sunday, July 21, the annual Ice Cream Social will take place from 2-4 p.m. in and/or near the front lobby of the Library.  There will be $.50 ice cream treats, a Friends book sale, and music by Library favorites The Meteors.  Come one and all before the ice cream runs out.
