The Elk Grove Library has partnered with Home Instead Senior Care to help spread holiday cheer to the senior community through the Be a Santa to a Senior program.
Here's how you can participate:
Pick up an ornament from participating locations (listed below) which feature a tree, from now until December 11, 2015. Buy the item that's listed on the ornament. Then, return the unwrapped gift to the store with the ornament attached. Volunteers will collect, wrap, and deliver the gifts to local seniors who might otherwise spend the holiday alone.
