The library is no longer accepting used batteries for recycling. The following are alternatives.
The Village accepts household batteries for recycling at the Village Municipal Complex, located at 901 Wellington Avenue in Elk Grove Village. Bring your batteries to the Health and Community counter, located in the atrium of the main building, during business hours (Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm).
Also, many electronic and hardware stores and cell phone providers accept rechargeable batteries.
