Meet Wonder Woman
Wonder Women from the golden age of comics to the modern era will visit the library to help us celebrate Wonder Woman Day (June 3) and the library's upcoming comic con® (September 22).
They will be located by the lobby entrance to meet, greet, and take pictures with fans of all ages.
Superhero Library Cards
You, too, can be as powerful as Wonder Woman ... with a superhero library card! Starting June 3, sign up for a new library card at the Information Desk. Choose between two designs - superhero boy or superhero girl.
Photo Contest
Want a chance to win a gift card to Dunkin' Donuts or Buona Beef? Share a photo of yourself in front of our superhero backdrop with your favorite version of Woman Woman or your new superhero library card on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using the hashtag #EGVPLWWDay. Deadline to enter the photo contest is Sunday, June 10 at 11:59pm.
Elk Grove Library Comic Con®
Save the date! The library will host its very first comic con on Saturday, September 22 at 11am - 4pm.
We'll have a variety of crafts, costume contests, comic artists and illustrators, costumers and prop builders, workshops, a face painter, a famous TV/movie car show, and more!
This event is free and open to the public. Hope to see you there!
