LIBRARY HAPPENINGS JULY 11-17

ADULT SERVICES:
IDES is back on Monday, July 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for Effective Resumes, Interviewing and Job Search Techniques. Unemployed patrons are welcome to attend this free workshop to learn methods that might improve their searches for employment. A chance to participate in a mock interview will be included. Register online.

There are still openings for Scott Sanders' program Using Skype to Make Free Phone Calls, scheduled for Monday, July 11, at 7 p.m. See how videos as well as audio connections can be utilized and sent over the Internet. Register online.

I Have What? Finding Medical Information Online--find the most reliable online sites for medical information--is scheduled for Wednesday, July 13, at 7 p.m., with presenter Nancy Larson. Register online.

The Annual Ice Cream Social will be held on Sunday, July 17, from 2-4 p.m. Half a dollar buys a cool ice cream treat. Entertainment will be provided by local favorite group, The Meteors.

YOUTH SERVICES:
BMX Champ Matt Wilhelm is back on Monday, July 11, at 2 p.m. in the Library Parking Lot--because of the Power Outage from Monday's storm, Mr. Christopher will be performing on July 25. All ages are welcome to see his amazing tricks on a bicycle.

At 11 a.m. on Friday, July 15, Matt Rudolph will appear with a special Fun Around the World program, full of music and audience participation. All ages are welcome, but preschoolers must come with an adult. No registration is needed.

Children ages 10-16 are invited to attend a two week course on Babysitting, being held on two consecutive Saturdays, July 16 and 23, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Taught by a registered teacher, participants will learn to diaper, feed, and entertain little children as well as learning some basics on coping with emergencies. There is a cost of $10 for supplies, which include a book. Register online, but the registration is not complete until the fee is paid at the Youth Services Desk.
