ADULT SERVICES:
The Friends will be having a Mini-Book-Sale in the Lobby on Monday, October 10, starting at 10 a.m.

Hunting for a job? Let IDES help in the search at the monthly program Effective Resumes, Interviewing and Job Search Techniques. This all-day workshop--9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m on Monday, October 10--will even include a mock interview experience. Register online. For more information, call Jill Derkits at extension 226.

Ever wonder where a particular spice comes from or how it is collected or just what it is or what it is used for? Join spice experts Patty and Tom Erd, owners of the prestigeous Spice House, on Wednesday, October 12, at 7 p.m., for The Lore and Lure of Spices. Register online.

The Computer Class Internet Basics will be offered on Friday, October 14, at 9:15 a.m. Find out what urls, hyperlinks, toolbars, browsers, and more are in this intro to the World Wide Web. Register online.

The AARP Driver Training class begins on Friday, October 14, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. This is a two week class; both sessions must be attended to be certified (which may mean a reduced insurance payment). YOUTH SERVICES:
For the Columbus Day Holiday, there will be two performances by local magician Rick Allen. His Magic and Illusion can be seen at 11 a.m. or at 1:30 p.m. No registration is needed, but seating is limited.
