LIBRARY HAPPENINGS MARCH 26-APRIL 1

It's Spring Break Week and Youth Services has several special programs scheduled (regular Storytimes and programs are suspended for this week or had their last meeting last week). First up is Samantha's Amazing Animal Adventure on Tuesday, March 27, at 11 a.m. [already in progress] and at 1:30 p.m. All ages are welcome. No tickets are needed. Preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult and no strollers will be allowed due to space considerations.

On Wednesday, March 28, at 11 a.m., the film The Muppets will be shown in the large Meeting Room--when they hear their old theater is to be torn down, the Muppets rally to organize a telethon to raise money to save it. Rated PG. No tickets are needed.

On Thursday, March 29, Chicago Magician Dennis Debondt is scheduled to present his show Very Funny Magic. Show times are 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. All ages are welcome, but preschoolers must come with an adult. No tickets are necessary.

 There are still a few openings for Brickology on Friday, March 30 at 11 a.m. "Lego Lady" Beth Weis will bring 100 pounds of Lego and provide 2 hours of opportunities for creative building. For children in first grade and up. Register online.
