Job Opening: Full Time Circulation Department Head

Qualifications
Completion of Bachelor's Degree. Master of Library Science is desired. Experience with public contact/customer service a must. Two (2) years of public library experience, preferably in Circulation. Two (2) years of management experience; or combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the requirements of the position.

Essential Responsibilities
Manages Library's Circulation function (including ILL) through staff of 15; provides direct public service at the Circulation Desk, including policy explanation, complaint resolution, fine collection, and circulation of materials; executes SirsiDynix functions; prepares statistical reports; submits monthly Board reports; oversees overdue notices; works with collection agency; supervises 3 monitors. Participates as a member of the library management team.

Hours
Minimun 35-hour work week.

Compensation
Salaried FLSA Exempt position, $51,000/year.
