LIBRARY HAPPENINGS MARCH 14-20

ADULT SERVICES:
IDES comes to the Library on Monday, March 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for the monthly workshop Effective Resumes, Interviewing and Job Search Techniques. It will cover ways to search for a job, how to create a resume that will attract attention, and what to do in an interview, including a chance to do a practice interview. Register online.


The Evening Book Group will meet on Tuesday, March 15, at 7:30 p.m. to discuss Pete Hamill's North River--a doctor in New York in the 30's copes with post-war depression, a brush with the Mob, a deserted grandson, and a life-saving housekeeper. For more information call Chris Mika at extension 272.

Internet Basics is scheduled for Wednesday, March 16, at 9:15 a.m. At this time it is full, but a Waiting List is available on the registration page.

On Thursday, March 17, the film Hereafter will be shown at 7 p.m. Starring Matt Damon, it consists of 3 separate stories (each involving a death) that eventually intersect. Rated PG-13. No tickets are needed.

This is the final week of the Adult Winter Reading Program. Logs must be completed by Sunday, March 20.

YOUTH SERVICES:
The Wolves Reading Program: Read to Succeed ends on Friday, March 18. The final drawings--weekly and shoebox--will be held on Saturday, March 19 at 11 a.m. Logs will be accepted until the raffles are held.
