LIBRARY HAPPENINGS MARCH 7-13

ADULT SERVICES:
On Wednesday, March 9, the film You Again, starring Kristen Bell , Betty White, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Sigourney Weaver, will be shown in the Large Meeting Room at 7 p.m.--girl realizes her brother's fiancee is a girl who bullied her in high school and determines to show her brother his fiancee's real character. Rated PG.

March 11 is the second Friday of the month and the time for the monthly Game Night from 7 to 10 p.m. Patrons ages 12 and up are invited to come after-hours for pizza, pop, and solo or team gaming on Wii, Playstation, PCs, and more. Teens under age 17 must have written parental permission to participate. Register by calling extension 272.

YOUTH SERVICES:

Tonight, Monday, March 7, will be the semi-finals and final battles for the 2011 Battle of the Books. Four teams are left, but only one will win. The two semi's start at 6:30. The resulting winners will then meet for the last time after 7. All participants on all the teams are welcome to come with their families to watch the Final. Afterwards, refreshments will be served.

This week is Teen Tech Week: Mix & Mash @ Your Library. Teens in grades 6 to 12 are invited to drop in and play a Tech Week Game to earn chances. On Saturday, March 12, a drawing for four $50 Best Buy gift certificates will be held at 4 p.m. More chances can be earned by attending the Digital Scrapbooking class on Thursday, March 10, at 6:30 in the Adult Computer Lab--bring in pictures and make electronic scrapbook pages using Powerpoint. Register online.
