LIBRARY HAPPENINGS APRIL 30-MAY 6

ADULT SERVICES: Want to freshen up your wardrobe inexpensively? Bring mint condition accessories to the Library on Monday, April 30, before 7 p.m. and get a "credit" for each item. "Cash in" these credits at 7 at the Springtime Accessory Swap for items other patrons have brought in, and you will have new accessories to use yourself. Register online. Peter Jenkins' A Walk Across America will be discussed by the Morning Book Group on Tuesday, May 1, at 10:30 a.m.--a man and his dog walk from New York to New Orleans in the mid 1970's. For more information, call Chris Mika at extension 227.

Memory Coach Dr. Burton Fischman, will present Improve Your Memory on Wednesday, May 2, at 7 p.m. Learn techniques (like mnemonics) to help you remember names, numbers, and more. Register online.


YOUTH SERVICES: There's still room in the Chess Tournament on Saturday, May 5, at 1:30 p.m. This is open to any child in grades k-8, from beginners to advanced players. Participants do NOT need to have taken the classes. Regtister online.
