LIBRARY HAPPENINGS AUGUST 13-19

ADULT SERVICES:
IDES returns on Monday, August 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for another workshop for job seekers, Effective Resumes, Interviewing and Job Search Techniques. A mock interview will be part of the program. Register online.

Om Johari returns this week for two programs that will take puzzle fans through the mechanics of solving Sudoku puzzles. On Tuesday, August 14, at 7 p.m., it will be Sudoku for Beginners--register online here. On Thursday, August 16, at 7 p.m., it will be Sudoku Solving Strategies--register online here.

On Friday, August 17, after the Library closes at 7 p.m., Got Game?, the monthly Game Night, will be held. Patrons ages 12 and up may participate, but anyone under 17 must have written parental permission. Play xBox, Playstation, and Wii games, PC games, and even table top games, solo or in teams. Refreshments will be available. Register online.

YOUTH SERVICES:
Hunger Games will be released on Saturday, August 18, and to celebrate, teens in grades 6 and up are invited to a special showing of the film at 1 p.m. There will also be other related activities, including a Cosplay contest and a real archery demonstration. Snacks will be available, too. Register online.
