On Monday, August 6, at 7 p.m., long-time favorite Weather Man Harry Volkman will present his program Whatever the Weather, (also the title of his self-published autobiography). Hear about the early days of TV weather broadcasting and how it has changed over the years, about his own experiences, and about other meteorologist broadcasters in the Chicago area. Register online.
After the Tour...Basic Bike Maintenance and Safety is the topic for Vince Boyer's program on Wednesday, August 8, at 7 p.m. He will cover tires, brakes, helmets, and other elements of maintenance and safety for bicyclists. Attendees can bring their bikes in, as well, for an on-the-spot analysis of bicycle condition by Vince and other technicians from Village Cycle Sport. Register online.

Youth Summer Reading is officially over, but prizes may still be collected. Also, check the Raffle Prizes List to see if you are a winner. Many prizes have not yet been collected.
