Share Your Story or Message of Hope
Do you have a story or message to inspire others? How do you make the best of life in a pandemic? What are your hopes for how we will come out of this better?
The Elk Grove Village Library invites you to put your message into words, pictures, or video for this very special contest. You can paint a POSTER, write a ZINE, snap some PHOTOS, or submit a short VIDEO.
Entries will be displayed inside the Library and shared on the Library's website and social media. The Elk Grove Village community will then vote for their favorite entries. Library staff will select two winners from each category. Each winner will receive a $25 gift card.

Up to 11" x 17" in size
Zine or Short Book
Up to 8 pages
Photography
Up to 3 photos total
Video
Up to 2 minutes maximum
Other
How do you express yourself -- singing, dancing, making, baking? Share a picture or video that creatively expresses your message of hope.
How to Submit
Entries must be submitted by email to Nancy Broten-Munson at nbroten@egvpl.org.
The extended deadline to submit entries is Sunday, January 17, 2021.
The contest is for families and individuals ages 14 and older.
