Be a Santa to a Senior

The Elk Grove Village Public Library has once again partnered with Home Instead Senior Care this season to help spread holiday cheer to the senior community through the Be a Santa to a Senior program.

Here's how you can participate:

Pick up a bulb ornament from participating locations (listed below) which feature a tree, starting on Tuesday, November 12 through Monday, November 25. Buy the item that's listed on the ornament. Then, return the wrapped gift with the ornament attached to the Elk Grove Library at the Information Desk in the lobby.

The Library will be closed all day on THURSDAY, JULY 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday. No library materials will be due at this time. We will reopen to regular hours on Friday, July 5 at 9am - 7pm.

Parking Lot Closure and Repairs
In addition, the parking lots at the Elk Grove Village Public Library will be under repair on Thursday, July 4, subject to weather conditions. All parking lots will be closed off on this day and will not be accessible. Please do not park in or pass through the lots during this time.

Memorial Day Hours and Parking Lot Repairs

The Library will be closed all day on Sunday, May 26 and Monday, May 27 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. No library materials will be due during this time. We will reopen to regular hours on Tuesday, May 28 at 9am - 10pm.

Christmas Hours

The Library will be closed ALL DAY on Monday and Tuesday, December 24 and 25, 2018 in observance of the Christmas holiday.

We will reopen to regular hours on Wednesday, December 26 at 9am - 10pm.

New Years Hours

The Library will be closed early on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 1pm and closed ALL DAY on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in observance of the New Years holiday.

We will reopen to regular hours on Wednesday, January 2 at 9am - 10pm.
